Panda Security reports that there is a malware embedded in High School Musical related video clips and music, particularly those downloaded from peer-to-peer networks. The virus spreaders are also very astute, because this incident will target most of the novice users of Internet or computer, who are mostly kids below the age of 15, which will make the dissemination of the malware very effective.

A similar incident has also taken place in a gamut of video clips pertaining to Barack Obama, which also have malwares inside it. It is reported that this malware usually contains virus such as Agent.KGR Trojan, an adware called KoolBar, and many other harmful codes. To tackle this problem, Internet users are encouraged to always check the file extension, because a .exe file may launch a pernicious virus when ran.
