You do not need torrent anymore when it comes to downloading movies. Neither do you need to go to your favourite DVD shops to get to watch your coveted movies. You will just need to visit YouTube for all that. Yes, YouTube is preparing to offer its dearest visitors with full-length box office movies, thanks to its parent company, Google, which has been continuously talking to major entertainment companies for the deal. In return, YouTube will inser online advertisements in the movie, and therefore it gains revenue from them. However the bad news is so far not all studios give YouTube a green light. For example, the Canadian company Lionsgate only give YouTube short movie clips.

One thing for sure is that YouTube will be a gigantic challenge to Hulu, a site that is already offering Netizens with streaming full-length movie. And what is worrying for Hulu is because of something that YouTube has but Hulu doesn’t; nearly 80 million monthly visitors. With this popularity, it would be very hard for Hulu to compete with YouTube in streaming, ad-supported movies.
